Hi! I'm Jess

A simple way to step into autumn 🥮

Happy Autumn, Reader!

Last night, 12 of us gathered in Forest Park to celebrate the Autumn Equinox, and it was such a lovely evening.

We spent time noticing the changing landscape both around us and within. We celebrated the harvests from the year together, wrote down what we were ready to release on paper that dissolved in water, and shared some true tastes of the season: delicious chai tea, pomegranate, apples, and pumpkin bread.

We laughed together, spent some time in quiet reflection, and thought about what we want to call in for the season in front of us.

Today, I want to invite you to do the same.

🌿 This week’s invitation: Sensing Autumn

Find a few ways to use your senses to fully step into the season.

Maybe that looks like stepping outside and collecting a few pieces of nature that look or feel like autumn to you to bring inside. Maybe it’s lighting a candle that smells or feels like fall, baking or picking up one of your favorite autumn flavors, or taking a long walk through your local park or your own yard and noticing with your eyes what is beginning to shift.

There’s no right way to do this. Just notice what helps you feel a little more connected to the season you’re actually in.

And while you’re there, take a moment to be fully in the now.

Look back for a minute and celebrate what this year has brought you so far. Notice what feels ready to fall away. Then consider what you want this season to feel like.

We set goals all the time, but this doesn’t have to be about productivity or accomplishing something. Maybe instead, choose a feeling you’d like to invite more of this autumn.

Whatever feels true for you right now.

If you missed us last night, there’s still one more September Sunday in Nature this weekend. 🌿

We’ll be exploring Cliff Cave Park this Sunday morning, and I’ve opened up a single-session ticket if you’d like to join us for one last September morning outside together.

Happy Autumn, friends. 🍁

In Peace and Presence,
Jess

After the spring women's circle filled so quickly, I knew I wanted to create a fall version with more time for people to plan. This 5-week women’s series will open and close with full moon bonfire circles, and include three weeks of Sunday autumn forest bathing in local St. Louis green spaces in between. A small-group seasonal reset for women who are craving more presence, connection, and rhythm as we move into fall.
