🍂 8 Autumn Shifts for When Life Feels Like Too Much

Hello Reader!

Happy Autumn Equinox 🍁!

Today marks the beginning of the transition from summer to autumn. On this day we'll experience equal light and equal dark. It’s nature’s reminder that balance is possible, even when life feels anything but balanced.

I know there’s a lot happening right now - in your life and in the world. That’s exactly why I pulled together a slide series of 8 simple shifts you can make to bring a little more balance and ease into your days. Scroll through them and see which one feels doable for you.

And in case you missed it last week, I’m resharing my Nature Invitation for the Equinox below - a short, gentle way to mark this turning point with presence.

👉 If you’re noticing you could use more support in finding your rhythm this season, I’d love for you to join me for the Autumn Rhythm Reset a women’s circle + forest bathing series starting with the Harvest Moon on October 5. We’ll weave together weekly practices, community, and nature connection to help you slow down and step into fall with intention.

If you have questions or want to know if it’s a good fit, just hit reply. I’d love to hear from you.

🌗 Between Light and Dark - A Nature Invitation for the Equinox

The Autumn Equinox marks a brief pause in nature’s rhythm. A moment of near-perfect balance between day and night. This week, I invite you to step outside and notice what’s changing, and what’s holding steady.

Here’s a way to mark this turning point with presence:

Step 1. Find the in-between.
Step outside at dawn or dusk, when the light is soft and the air is shifting. Notice what’s changing. Notice the angle of the sun, the sound of the wind, or any scent of the season you can pick up.

Step 2. Let something surface.
This is a time for gentle recalibration. I wonder what would support more balance in your daily rhythm? Perhaps there's a small adjustment that might bring more ease?

Step 3. Mark the shift.
You might gather a fallen leaf or acorn, light a candle, or take a photo of the evening sky. Let it be a simple marker of your intention to enter the new season with awareness.

👉 If this invitation opens something up for you, I’d love to hear. Just hit reply and share what you noticed.

May this Equinox offer you a breath of equilibrium 😮‍💨 a moment to reset before stepping fully into the season ahead. 🍁 I'll be back in your inbox later this week with The Nature Brief🌿!
