This time of year is always my busiest as a guide. Still, I’m grateful. Even when I’m “working,” these walks are healing for me too. And I always try to plan these walks around certain moments for a reason. You’ll often find one near Mother’s Day and another near Father’s Day. Not because they’re holidays everyone celebrates the same way, but because I know firsthand how much comfort, release, and quiet support nature can offer during those tender weekends. 💚 So if Father’s Day feels layered this year, if your dad is no longer here, or the relationship is complicated, please know this Saturday’s forest walk is also a soft place to land.
