Hi Reader,

The woods are turning golden hues, and you can feel the shift toward stillness. Before October slips away, I’m guiding one last Forest Bathing walk this season at The Nature Institute - Saturday, October 26 from 9:30–11:30 AM.

This slow, sensory morning invites you to notice what’s changing - both inside and out.

We’ll wander among the autumn colors, breathe in that crisp air, and listen for what the season is asking us to release.

You don’t need to prepare or perform, just come as you are and let the forest do its quiet work.

🌿 Nature Connection Invitation

When you step outside this week, take a moment to notice a single leaf on the ground.

Observe its color, texture, and shape.

Pull it to your nose and take a deep inhale to smell it, what do you notice?

Bring it to your ear and with your eyes closed, see what sounds emerge when you touch it, tap on it, or crinkle it between your fingers.

Look closely, what small details reveal themselves when you give it your full attention?

Ask yourself: What part of me is ready to rest, or to let go, like this leaf?

Finally, take a moment to consider the leaf’s lifespan. I wonder what it has been exposed to, what it has “seen,” and how it continues to give back as it returns to the earth. 🍂

✨ I’d love to know how this invitation lands for you. Feel free to reply and tell me what you're noticing or feeling ready to let go of🍂.

Turning Inward 🍂 Autumn Forest Bathing at The Nature Institute

If you've joined me at TNI before you know just how special this space is, and if the world and life has got you feeling maxed out or if you’ve been craving an exhale, this might be it.

At peak color, The Nature Institute’s woodlands glow in golds and reds. This guided Forest Bathing experience invites you to step fully into autumn’s beauty, letting the season’s abundance and release offer you new perspective.

As October draws to a close, the forest begins its quiet shift toward rest. Colors soften, light fades earlier, and the air carries the scent of fallen leaves. Positioned between the Harvest Moon and the November full moon, this walk offers a moment to reflect, release, and find balance in the turning season.

Slowing down time doesn’t happen by accident, it happens through intention, rhythm, and community. These small practices are helping me feel more present this season, and I’d love for you to try them too.
